Malaga’s history spans about 2,800 years, making it one of the oldest cities in the world. Birthplace of Picasso, the vibrant cosmopolitan city of Málaga is situated on the beautiful Andalucía coastline. The opening of the Picasso Museum in 2003, a former Palace and worthy of a visit in itself, has increased tourism to the city and there are also many other interesting historic monuments such as the Baroque Cathedral, the Alcazaba, the Roman theatre and the Gibralfaro castle. In 2015 the Pompidou Museum opened next to the new harbour “Muelle Uno”.

The new AVE high-speed train, with several daily connections, opens up many new and varied opportunities from Malaga for, say, a one day excursion either for business or pleasure to amazing cities such as Cordoba or Seville.
