Santuário do Bom Jesus do Monte & the Funicular (elevator): The Bom Jesus Sanctuary, one of the ex-libris of Braga, was declared in 2019 a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is a place where art and nature coexist in perfect harmony and that make this place a sacred and resting space
- Braga Cathedral: With very distant origins (year 400), the current cathedral in Braga dates back to the 11th century and is thus the oldest cathedral in Portugal. Over the centuries, several modifications were carried out which makes the cathedral present today several architectural styles such as Romanesque and Baroque.
- Sameiro Sanctuary: Just south of Bom Jesus do Monte is another hilltop sanctuary, set even higher at 566 metres above sea level.Sameiro Sanctuary is a neoclassical temple that started to be built in 1863 but it was only in the 20th century that the works ended
- Surroundings: Braga’s location, allows the organisation of an interesting and diversified social programme featuring the cosmopolitan city of Porto to the historical city of Guimarães, classified as world patrimony being well known as the birth of Portugal back in 1143.
